There are many beach communities along the Argentine
Atlantic Coast, but Mar Del Plata is an actual city. It
attracts mostly blue collar families and the district of Alem
Street attracts so many young people that cars can barely get
through. But I stayed 15 minutes outside of own at the far
end of the longest beach there, so it was quite tranquil.
