Brie Austin Bio, Philosophy and Goals: In business, Brie has been an entrepreneur that founded and managed several transportation logistics companies that served industry leaders like Morgan Stanley, Couristan Carpets, MSC, and DuPont — over the course of eighteen years.
He forayed into the entertainment field as a concert promoter, and served as executive producer for a nationally distributed indie feature film, as well as a documentary that aired on Bravo in 2003-2006. From 2003-2005 he served on the documentary judging panel for New York Festivals.
He founded a nationally distributed record company that he sold in 1999, and later served as CEO of a publicly traded media/entertainment company.

As a free-lance writer, he is the co-author of I’d Do It Again, and served as a columnist and reporter for a variety of magazines in the areas of music (articles, jazz, rock), nightlife, lifestyle, travel, and business; while also writing content for business-oriented websites, successful business plans, and a REG-A Offering Statement [that was approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2010.]
Brie is a member of the National Writers Union, and the Society of Professional Journalists.
Born and raised in New York City, a vacation to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2003 evolved into a six-and a half year stay there; until he returned to NYC in 2010 and took an extended six-month stay in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon, Mexico in 2011.
Today his home is where ever he, his backpack and computer happen to be.
PHILOSOPHY: Life is not a competition, it’s an experience, and on-going adventure. One should seek out the truth in all things, without the fear of what may be found.
Every life has a course it must ultimately take; regardless of whether you embrace or resist it, so experience “seeing” rather than merely looking at the things around you, and then partake in them.

GOALS: I write not only to document the things I see, learn and experience, but also to inspire Self-discovery. I have things to say — regardless of whether a reader agrees or disagrees with me — and don’t require validation through agreement. My interest is more to ignite a passion in the reader to find their own enlightenment, whatever that may be.
