What
Is A Mola? A mola is a designed fabric, which is developed by
stiching multiple layers of colored cloth -- one on top of the
other -- to create a desired image or pattern. Molas are a
tradition and an artform, passed down through thousands of
years, and represent the history, culture, daily life and
dreams of the tribe.
